During our visit in April, our technician Uwe Buchwitz was able to optimize many of the system’s settings. The system has been working reliably over the past year, but several problems were noticed during remote monitoring, which Uwe was able to address during these two weeks. For example, it was noticed that the temperatures in the technical building were much too high, which meant that the converters were only operating at half their capacity. This was optimized by installing an additional air conditioning system. During these two weeks, he was also able to provide the electrician who will continue to maintain the system with intensive training on how it works.
In the areas we primarily targeted—the operating theater, pediatrics, and neonatology—there have been no power outages at all in the entire year that the system has been in operation! This is really a big step forward compared to several outages per day before the solar system was installed.
We would like to thank Uwe once again for his continuous and selfless commitment in this area!
